How to build a company profile that tells candidates enough

Education 17.08.2026

When a candidate opens your job ad, they usually do one more thing: click on your company name. What they see there often decides whether they apply or not.

An empty profile is a wasted opportunity. Here is what belongs in it and why.

Why the profile matters

In healthcare, candidates rarely choose on pay alone. They want to know where they are going: how large the team is, what the shifts look like, whether the institution is public or private, how far it is from home.

The ad does not say this — it describes the position. The profile is the only place where you can present yourself.

What belongs in the profile

Logo

The first thing a candidate sees in the job list. Upload it in your Company profile. Without it, your ad looks visually weaker than the others.

A short introduction

Two to four paragraphs. Say what the institution does, how many people it employs, what is characteristic about you. Avoid empty phrases — “we are a dynamic team” says nothing. Better: “There are 14 of us in the clinic, we work two shifts, no night work.”

Address

Enter the exact address. The portal draws a map from it automatically, and the candidate immediately sees how far it is from home. In healthcare, distance is often decisive.

Field of work

Choose the category that genuinely fits. Candidates filter by it when browsing employers.

Contact

An email address you actually monitor. All applications go straight there — the portal neither intercepts nor stores them.

What not to write

  • Do not copy text from your website. There you address patients, here candidates. Two different audiences.
  • Do not promise what you will not deliver. Healthcare candidates talk to colleagues; a false picture comes back quickly.
  • Do not leave fields empty. An incomplete profile looks like you do not care.

Where to edit the profile

Once signed in, you will find it in your dashboard under Company profile. Changes appear immediately, including on ads already published.

The full publishing path is described in the Employer guide.

A small test

Open your profile in a browser as if you were a candidate. If in thirty seconds you cannot tell what the institution does, where it is and who works there, the profile is not finished.
