What the Featured employer badge means and how to get it

Promotions 17.08.2026

On the portal you will notice a Featured employer badge next to some employers. It is not decoration and it cannot be bought on its own. This page explains what it means, who gets it and why it is useful for job seekers.

What the badge means

The badge shows that the employer is not a one-off visitor to the portal: they advertise with us regularly, or have taken one of the larger packages or additional promotion.

It does not mean we have assessed working conditions, pay or team relations. We cannot do that and we do not claim to. It does mean this is an institution that invests in finding staff and is in regular contact with us.

Who gets it

The badge is assigned automatically when an employer has:

It can also be assigned manually by a portal administrator — for example to a long-standing partner. A manual badge takes precedence and does not disappear on its own.

When the package or promotion expires, the automatic badge switches off. An employer does not earn it once and for all.

Why it is useful for job seekers

If you are choosing between several ads, the badge tells you that this employer:

  • hires regularly and did not simply post one ad years ago,
  • has a completed profile with details about the institution,
  • is reachable — we follow their ads too.

All featured employers are gathered on the Featured employers page.

Why it is useful for employers

The badge is visible in the job list, on the ad page and on the company profile. In practice it does two things: the ad stands out among others, and the profile is listed among featured employers, which brings extra views even when you have no active ad.

How to get it

There is nothing separate to order. You get it with a larger package or with Boost promotion — what exactly each package includes is on the Packages page.

If you believe you should have the badge but do not, write to zaposlitve@zdravstvena.info and we will check.

What the badge does not replace

To be fair: the badge brings a candidate to the ad, not to the application. The content decides — what the ad says, what the conditions are and how quickly you respond.
