Zdravstveni zavod Zdravje (ZZ Zdravje) was founded in 1992 as the first private healthcare centre in Slovenia to offer comprehensive medical services under one roof. Today it is one of the leading private healthcare centres in the region; since 2017 it has been based at the modern Medicinski center Ljubljana (MCL) in Vilharjev podhod.

The centre brings together a broad range of specialist clinics staffed by more than 25 established consultants from a variety of medical fields. Four clinics operate under a contract with the national Health Insurance Institute: general practice, paediatrics, dentistry, and upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy. The remaining specialist clinics are available on a self-pay basis, which means patients are seen without waiting lists.

Two dedicated programmes, Pravočasno and Redni servis, give faster access to specialists and diagnostic examinations. For companies, the centre provides occupational, traffic and sports medicine, executive health checks and workplace health promotion.

Where to find us

Medicinski center Ljubljana, Vilharjev podhod 1, 1000 Ljubljana. The centre is open Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 3 pm; the call centre Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 3 pm. Paid parking is available in the centre’s garage (entrance from Hacquetova 2).
